No medication can be given to students during school hours unless parents complete the Medication Release form. The medicine container must be labeled by the pharmacist and include student name, prescribing physician's name, and instructions for administering the medication. Students are not to have medication of any kind in their possession while at school. |
All ill students are referred to the office where they are checked and parents notified. Children may not return home unless arrangements for them to do so are made by the office. A child with an elevated temperature, or signs of illness, should be kept home. Please report contagious diseases to the school. |
